Useful Guidelines
Possidi Cape Beach is located on the western side of Kassandra and is reached by road through the peninsula’s internal route network, usually via the Possidi area. Visitors coming from Nea Potidea, Kallithea, Afytos or the central Kassandra villages typically follow the main road south-westward before turning toward the cape zone. The final part of the approach involves reaching the sandy spit area itself, which may include a short walk depending on the exact stopping point and seasonal access conditions. Unlike a conventional village beach, Possidi Cape is experienced as a landscape destination: visitors are not simply driving to a beach entrance but moving toward a narrow, visually striking formation where sea and horizon dominate the scene. Because of this, the area feels more open and elemental, and the approach often becomes part of the experience. It is particularly rewarding later in the day, when the light becomes softer and the setting is ideal for panoramic views and sunset photography. Visitors should be aware that exposed coastal conditions and strong summer demand can influence comfort, so timing matters.
