The “Xerxes” Association of Rental Room and Apartment Owners and Operators of Halkidiki represents tourist accommodation professionals in Nea Roda and the wider northeastern Halkidiki area. Known as “Xerxes”, it is closely linked to the area’s historical and geographical identity, near the Canal of Xerxes and along the Nea Roda–Trypiti–Ammouliani–Ouranoupoli route.

The association supports owners of rental rooms and apartments, strengthens cooperation among professionals, and promotes local hospitality through coordinated efforts. Through its involvement in the wider tourist accommodation sector, it helps represent the area’s small and family-run accommodation businesses.

Nea Roda and Trypiti are key locations in eastern Halkidiki, offering direct access to the sea, connections to Ammouliani, and proximity to Ouranoupoli and the area bordering Mount Athos. The “Xerxes” association strengthens this local identity by highlighting the importance of authentic hospitality and small tourist accommodation businesses in the visitor experience.
