The “Strymonikos” Association of Self-Catering Rental Room Owners and Operators of the Strymonian Gulf represents tourist accommodation professionals in Asprovalta, Nea Vrasna, and Vrasna Beach. Known as “Strymonikos”, it is closely linked to the Strymonian Gulf’s tourism identity and the collective presence of local hospitality businesses in the Municipality of Volvi.

Since 1997, the association has helped promote the area, support accommodation professionals, and strengthen cooperation among its members. Through asprovalta-vrasna.gr, the area is showcased as a holiday destination, featuring accommodation, beaches, natural attractions, cultural highlights, and useful visitor information.

Asprovalta, Nea Vrasna, and Vrasna Beach are prominent seaside destinations east of Thessaloniki, with an extensive coastline, a family-friendly atmosphere, and a strategic location between Thessaloniki and Kavala. The “Strymonikos” association strengthens this image by highlighting the importance of small and family-run tourist accommodation businesses in the overall hospitality experience.
