Useful Guidelines
Glarokavos Beach lies near Pefkochori, in the southeastern part of Kassandra, and is one of the easier natural coastal points to include in a Kassandra-based itinerary. Visitors usually reach it by car through the peninsula’s main road axis, travelling southward past the central Kassandra settlements until they arrive at the Pefkochori area. From there, access to the wider Glarokavos zone is simple and practical, making it suitable for both short visits and full beach days. Because the location sits close to a well-developed village, it does not require the kind of remote approach associated with more isolated parts of Sithonia. At the same time, the beach and lagoon setting still provide a stronger natural identity than a typical urban seafront. Parking and final access are usually manageable within the wider area, followed by a short walk depending on the exact point visitors want to reach. Glarokavos works especially well for travellers staying in Pefkochori, Hanioti or nearby Kassandra resorts, since it can be approached easily without major detours.
