Useful Guidelines
Kavourotrypes Beach is located on the eastern side of Sithonia, between Armenistis and Platanitsi, and is usually reached by road from the main Sithonia coastal route. Visitors coming from Nikiti, Vourvourou or Sarti can follow the peninsula’s eastern road southward until the turning point for the beach area. The final approach is more natural and less structured than at village beaches, which means that access feels closer to a hidden coastal landscape than to a fully urbanised seaside stop. During the summer season, most visitors arrive by private car or motorbike, then continue on foot for the last part of the route. Depending on where you park, a short walk may be required before reaching the sea. Because the area is popular and naturally narrow, it is best to arrive earlier in the day, especially in high season. The beach is not the most direct or effortless one to access, but that is part of its appeal: the route prepares the visitor for a more secluded and visually dramatic stretch of coastline shaped by white rocks, pine trees and clear water. Boat excursions from the wider Sithonia area may also include nearby coastal stops.
