Afytos is one of Halkidiki’s most picturesque and historic villages, built on a hill with stunning views over the Toroneos Gulf. The village stands out for its traditional Macedonian architecture, with stone houses, narrow cobbled streets and beautiful squares.

Afytos has a history stretching back through the centuries and is today a particularly popular destination for visitors seeking an authentic atmosphere and cultural character. Its small shops, art galleries and traditional tavernas create a unique experience for those exploring the village.
