Sani is one of Halkidiki’s best-known upscale holiday destinations, situated near the entrance to Kassandra, just before Nea Fokea. Today, its name is associated with high-quality tourism facilities, seaside resorts, a marina, long sandy beaches and a natural landscape combining sea, pine forests and sand dunes. Rather than a traditional village in the conventional sense, Sani is a distinct holiday destination with a strong international identity and considerable appeal to discerning travellers.

The area also has considerable historical significance. It was once home to ancient Sani, a colony founded by settlers from Eretria, while estates belonging to the monasteries of Mount Athos developed here in later centuries. The surviving Stavronikita Tower is a defining landmark of both the landscape and Sani’s contemporary cultural identity. This blend of nature, history and modern tourism development also provides the setting for the Sani Festival, one of the best-known cultural events of the Greek summer. The area thus brings together luxury, scenery and cultural experiences.

Sani attracts travellers seeking well-organised services, quality accommodation, fine dining, water sports and easy access to one of Kassandra’s most beautiful coastal areas. Its marina serves as a hub for holiday activities and social life, while the surrounding area balances privacy with convenient access to amenities. It is a destination that gives Halkidiki a distinctly international, premium holiday appeal.
