Akti Salonikiou is one of the most beautiful and peaceful seaside destinations in eastern Halkidiki. Located near the village of Gomati, in the Municipality of Aristotle, it overlooks the clear waters of the Strymonian Gulf. The area is known for its long sandy beach, natural scenery and authentic atmosphere.

The beach at Akti Salonikiou stretches for several kilometres, combining sand with small pebbles to create a beautiful natural setting for swimming and relaxation. The waters are clear and relatively calm, while gentle hills and natural vegetation reaching almost to the shore complete the landscape. The area retains a quieter character than Halkidiki’s major tourist centres, making it particularly popular with visitors seeking a relaxing holiday.

The settlement developed primarily as a holiday destination and offers holiday homes, small tourist accommodation properties and rooms to let. The area also has tavernas, cafés and small shops catering to visitors’ needs during the summer months.

Akti Salonikiou is a short distance from key settlements in eastern Halkidiki, such as Gomati, Ierissos and Nea Roda, allowing visitors to combine their stay with excursions and exploration of the wider area. It also offers easy access to many beaches along the Strymonian Gulf, as well as beautiful natural landscapes.

The unspoilt scenery, tranquillity and natural surroundings make Akti Salonikiou an ideal destination for those wishing to discover a quieter, more authentic side of Halkidiki.
